Former UGA LB Reuben Faloughi talks protests at Missouri, impact on college athletics

Bulldogs Beat

When Reuben Faloughi arrived at Georgia in 2009, he was the quintessential underdog. A walk-on linebacker from Martinez, Faloughi forced the coaching staff to take notice of him practice from the start. After one year, Faloughi did enough to earn a scholarship for his remaining three seasons. These days, Faloughi, as he says, fights for the underdog now that he has become involved in social activism on the campus at Missouri, where he’s a third-year doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D in psychology.
