Helping Light Your Path to Psychological Greatness
As a high performer, you know the mask you wear to hide the internal tension building inside.
Wearing it drove you to success and a powerful capacity to care for others, but you know something is off. Relationships feel distant, social interactions are draining, and your mental and physical health are in decline. The most isolating part? No one else can tell. Success shouldn’t feel this lonely.
Dr. Reuben serves leaders and changemakers navigating these exact crossroads.
As a trauma specialist, he identifies the patterns from the past—often manifesting as anxiety, depression, or stalled work performance—and provides a clear path forward.
Using a skills-based, goal-oriented 8-12 session protocol, Dr. Reuben provides a warm, energizing spark needed to nudge you out of your rut toward a values-aligned life. You deserve a healthy body, mind, and spirit, and the assurance that you are making the impact you were destined to make.

Since Dr. Reuben is an out-of-network provider you will specifically be asking about "Out-of-Network (OON) Behavioral Health Benefits." Use the following questions to get the clarity you need:
"Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?" (This is the "gateway" question).
"What is my out-of-network deductible?" * Follow-up: "How much of that deductible have I met so far this year?"
"What is the 'Allowed Amount' for a 50-minute psychotherapy session (CPT code 90837)?" * Note: Insurance companies often reimburse based on what they think a session should cost, not what the therapist actually charges. Asking for the "allowed amount" prevents surprises.
"What is my co-insurance percentage for that allowed amount?" (Typically, they might cover 60%–80% after your deductible is met).
"Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per calendar year?"
"How do I submit my superbills for reimbursement, and what is the typical turnaround time?"
-
Yes. For most mental health challenges, research shows virtual therapy is as effective as in-person care. It often provides greater flexibility and consistency for busy clients by removing the barrier of a commute.
-
Dr. Reuben requires 24-hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. To account for the unpredictability of life, he offers one "freebie" late cancellation every 12 months. After that, late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee.
